1 Piece Hopup-Mags NOT FEEDING!

Ok I give up, I am getting really frustrated with this situation.

I have a M16 G&G mechbox but everything is new.

I have mags that shoot AMAZING in my STAR M4 SIR.
But when I goto rock them in my M16
I have to push on the mag to get it to feed.

So I figured it was a bad hopup got a new one same issue.

Then tried the tape in the back of the magwell.
Same issue.
Now when I fire a couple shots it stops... then I can just so very slightly push on the mag in the upward position and I can hear it feed.

So its no the magpull issue thats cause it not to feed, almost like the Hopup is to high or the Mag release is to low.

Anyway have any good ideas let me know.
Starting to hate ARs

so in order to shoot you have to push the mag forward?

when it feeds, does it shoots?

Some mags just won't work in some guns, but will work great in other guns. C'est la vie.

Its definatly a magwell seating issue, you said you tried tape, maybe in the wrong place or just need to try smaller peices in certain areas, in mine I have small square peices on all sides and then 2 small peices of duct tape right at the bottom of the back side, right in front of the trigger guard.. Now it feeds 100%.

You also might need a different mag catch, might not be holding them up high enough. Modify it a bit or try a different one.

Well I find its forward and UP to get it to shoot.
Is there a way to fix this or am I stuck buying more mags?

If so what mags are prolly the best?

I found this with my AK some mags were wobbly and MAG Mags where sooo tight I loved it.
The Magpul ones I have seem whobbly in the M16 but TIGHT in my M4

Grrr....

I had some problems with some of my mags b4 and if you need to press on the mag for it to feed then it's the lip on the mag where the bbs come out. What I did was file down a lil bit of the lip. But only enough so bbs are still held back. Give that a try. Good luck.

Here's a pic if you need to know what I'm talking about.

my buddy has the same issue
KA Hopup and JG Metal body

ANd he can't get them to feed at all.
Seem like a lot of people I know have the same issues.

God I miss the good old plastic TMs with TM mags.

heheh I might just get rid of all my ARs LOL

I put a TM Highcap into the M16 today it shoots flawless...
then use other brands and it won't shoot at all.
So certain mags work for certain guns I am assuming.
