Is the Daytona kit reversable? Could I go back to a gearbox after or is it a permanant mod? Also where does the gas line exit the gun?

I am by no means an expert with the Daytona M249 gas kit yet - but I think they can not be reversed to AEGs once they have been moded with the gas kit.

In order to install the M249 gas kit - you need to drill some holes in the body of the weapon.

I am not sure if this means you won't be able to drop in a gear box again, but there is definitely mods that need to be done to make the Daytona kit work.

The gas line exits the weapon though the bottom of the pistol grip.

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be able too, I have no knowledge of what mods need to be made to the body for it to fit but the original gearbox is only secured on by two screws. And if the Daytona kit modifications require sanding and modding of the body causing the gearbox to be misaligned when re-installed you always could just use a couple of buffers here and there to re-align it.

Any chance of getting a pic of the air rigg and connectors?

I guess this thread did not specify that the SAWs had to be FN made...

The M60 isn't FN either, or do they make them?

The skeletton stock, long barrel and drum mag actually look kinda nice.
For once someone manages to make something a tiny bit original with an AK

And what the hell ? There's more than FN in the world !

And M60E4 is not an MK43 :P
Not the same manufacturer, not the same materials and most astonishing : not the same price
