With a file. Adjustments would need to be made to the contact point of the hammer hook against the sear. You choose which area to file, just think about how it would affect the action. You also can't engage too low, or it may activate the valve knocker early.

WARNING: Be careful of the angle you create! If you don't know what you're doing, then don't touch it, or you could actually create an unsafe weapon that may self-discharge!

FYI I always bend my SD nozzle's BB "pusher" downward after I receive them, as all the ones I've had always had them bent slightly up.

Hey chain posting.....

Swapped the 1911 sear that came with the hammer into the older frame that originally have the Hi-Capa sear, guess what, now it works....

All the more confused....

is it possible that the hole is caused by the bb pusher allready bent upward in the first place (new) that the whole nozzle is somehow pushed upward when the pusher rides on the next bb instead of pushing it forward causing the "rail" to chip hence causing the hole?

They all do, now. Which would make sense, since their receiver setup is designed just like....... a 1911. :P

The older kit has the sear shaped like the one here in their frame kit:

I am pretty sure my Limcat uses the same one too. This was the first time I saw the sear in this shape in a kit:

It's the drop in block that has a slightly changed angle to allow the use of the 1911 sear. it's pretty much the same thing as the modified Hi-Capa sear that came with the frame kits, except the 1911 one has a bit more "meat" to the top of the sear hook.

New question....AIP parts, how are they?

They seem to make hop-up chamber, BBU, a bunch of internal TM pistol parts.....I am thinking of scratch building a the current project now....

If they made the hop-up unit before, I could've saved $300 or more.

I plan to build a race 1911 single stack too. October-Decmber ish, depending when parts and money comes in.

Never tried them, but have been eyeing them. The Hop up chamber is still not complete enough to do a scratch build, unfortunately. :P Hop up arm, dial and chamber screws are still missing!

Should do one of them square trigger guard gun....looks more 80s that way...

I am just trying to see if I can do the current Hi-Capa build as a scratch build gun instead of buying a base gun. At this rate I'll be using just the leaf spring, disconnector, springs, hop-up unit, grip screws, and the rear sight. And like ILLusion said, I think at this point the only thing you can't get is the hop-up arm and the dial wheel....I guess I should just add those $$ up to see what costs more....

That picture isn't my actual gun. That's a photo of a WA Wilson Combat Super Grade. I just copied the colour scheme and some concepts off it, including a Wilson Combat Super Grade replica compensator. The actual fine details will be different.
