I don't mind the tac vest, takes some getting used to, but there's tricks you can do to make it more accessible for the sitatuion you're in. Awesome pics Texas, I'd love to have a C7 like that :P

I don't mind the tac latch, but for you guys who've been in longer, can you recommend a good one that works for you?

Also, don't mind the issue tac vest either, except it would be nice if it held more than 4 mags.

Since I'm in a rush and need to supplement my OTW TW shirt, I came across this unknown brand at a store here. Found this pic online and it's the same one, I highly doubt it's genuine so ignore the seller, but pay attention to the pockets, buttons, lack of flag velcro and this mystery tag at the collar (sizes are in S/M/L adding to the fact that it's not real) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Canadian-CADP...item35bb09a10e

Does anyone know what brand it is?

Postscript: On the TW version I saw, there is also a strip of velcro for a nametape, which is lacking on the one shown here.

Scotty, it looks alot like the Rap4 tag, but they don't offer a CADPAT AR BDU well at least it isn't listed on their site.

CanuckKwan is correct (I knew the minute someone spit the name out I'd remember it LOL). As far as replicas go, Parklands has the correct styling but the fabric weight is off and there is no velcro for either the nametape or flag. And for airsoft's purposes it's not really that important.....unless you're creating a team based on the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan circa 2003-ish LOL.

As for the price, $85 USD seems a little high to me. Check around some retailers here in Canada and you may be able to find a better price.

This CADPAT was bought at a store just outside of Montreal called Prefair - it is pretty decent quality.

The Pants are gatored, lots of belt loops, elastic in the waist (similar to Full Clip for fit) the Jacket has velcro on one sleeve and one on the chest for a nametape slanted pockets etc. and made in Pakistan.

$39.99 ea + Shipping (shipping was pretty cheap and fast)

Got mine off Ebay from ecam_surplus. Fabric isn't as heavy as issue stuff, but it's got the right cut and there's velcro for a nametag and a flag. I think that was like $120.00 for the full set. Pretty good quality, and you get a free boonie if you order a full set.

sgtdirtnappscamo also has replica combats in CADPAT AR. They're the old cut, so no big velcro patches on the sleeve. Actually, no velcro on theirs at all. But then again tan velcro is about $2.00 a foot, so it can always be added on later. Same thing on the boonie too. Buy a full set from him and he'll toss in an AR boonie.
