Hey Tim,
what material did you use for the mask? |
|
June 16th, 2008, 21:40 | #96 |
Which mask? The AOT isn't made by me, but another talented friend of mine named Brian. He's currently working on Salem now. He's mask is made of resin, durable but to be on the safe safe, i had it fiberglassed as well.
The Iron Man and Doom helms ARE by me, both are resin and fiberglassed reinforced. Lightweight and I had fun making em. Stay safe, Tim.

Saint_blackhand, apologies on the digression of your thread.
If you're referring to both the Dr Doom and Iron Man helms...I already am. This is what they look like painted up... PM me if you're interested. Stay safe, Tim.

Just an idea on how you can customize your own personal head strap for the AOT mask.
Mine's utilizing a spare Avon S10 gasmask strap. The holes were drilled, and I hand-filed each slot to clean it up. Once done, it was repainted. Stay safe, Tim.

AH man I already got my Army of Two loadout man
You can go to Airsoftgi.com in California and order all the gear from there. They have the exact vests..you get black body armor then put a tan chest plate over it (they have the same one). Then you buy the mask from cactus hobbies and get shin, knee pads. Anyways guess theres going to be a lot of army of two PMCS on the field |
