Paint the entire rifle - trust me.

And don't put a protective coating on it either.

Paint the rifle and use it - it will look awesome in a couple months.

yeah I know... awesome paint IMO, really proud of it...but god damned light so I don't know if I'll keep it...it was just a test.

Add some brown and a mist of black. Than wear the paint down where apropriate!

maybe after the game after the PIT...that paintjob suits well for the PIT I'll see after if it is too light for the wood.

Look at the ground there, it's mainly brown. Even the sand is browner than the Tan you have there.

Your camo will be more effective and usefull in and around the wooded part of the field, wich is even more brown.

You also need to break the form of the weapon with other colors. Add some shade to your brown stripes maybe.

Check on youtube, they got a lot of tutorial on painting guns using masks and whatnot.

Pre-cut stencils can help alot. Agreed search youtube there is an ifinite amout of tutorials on there that can help even the newest of painters.
