What are some guns I'd like to see converted to airsoft?

Colt .38 Detective Special:
This would make a great ankle gun! Historically, it was underpowered and puny. But what a history it has! The pistol made famous by the Prohibition, seen in plenty of gangster flicks, and helped popularize the phrase 'New York Reload' (or in other words... just take more pistols with ya!).

Lee Enfield SMLE: Yes, I know there's one in existence. I just don't want to give up a firstborn child or an external organ to get it. What WWII enthusiast wouldn't want an affordable Lee Enfield?

Webley Revolver: Again, not enough Brit replicas available, and the Webley is cool!

Ruger Mini 14: The gun from the old A-Team TV series. Extra awesome if it's chromed!

m56 smartgun,
and since it is not a syfy gun, technically it should not fall into all the legal definition of a replica, so no issus with the law

i just looked it up on ebay they run from 400-1000 then the 2000 for a MG42, and probly another 500 for cosmetic modifications

so for the low low price of 4000 you too can have a m56 smart gun

mods would be a front barel shroud, a fire pig and a front hand grip http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/File:ALSF-M56-2.jpg

I forgot about the M56 Smartgun! YES! That one! I would like to see it happen!

And if we're going into not quite guns I'd love to find a way to convert my NES Zapper into an airsoft pistol. *L*

There's a few guns that I want.

Gewehr 41 (W). Simply a beautiful looking rifle if not a very reliable one.

Suomi KP/31 (My granddad used one sometime in WWII, and I own a deactivated one)

MP.28 (an awesome German submachine gun)

I'd give a lot of money for any of those.

GBB of the Steyr M9A1
It's not a very common pistol, very underlook. In the real steel, it has excellent low bore axis, the grip is slightly angled so your index finger actually points down for excellent recoil control. I found this pistol better fitting than the M&P.

GBB of G3 is also highly desired (with steel receiver)

G3 GBBR is at the top of mine and a few others list. A few weeks ago I tried a MG42 that had been cut, welded up, then gutted and a gear box put in. 28 lbs is too heavy to carry around with no tactical advantage in airsoft.
