Ok, so stock barrel, stock spacer (plus one bearing shim), hop up off and NPAS full open works fine (NPAS adjustable valve in stock nozzle). I'll try putting the barrel back in and leaving everything else alone, see if it is just the barrel.

Had the same feeding problem with my scar a while back. Fixed it by upgrading to the open bolt system. Not sure that's possible yet with the M4

If that's the case...the inner barrel is squeezing the rubber to be too small...jamming things up. You might take a look at altering either the cut on the inner barrel (I have a lathe...so I'd do that)...or altering the rubber (which is kind of so-so since they don't resize nicely post casting). |

I toyed around with it a bit more. Just putting the rubber nozzle on the stock one, I was able to force the bb through with my lung pressure, couldn't do it with the RA tech. So the inner diameter is just a hair smaller, squezzing the rubber enough so that BB's have enough trouble getting through.
Since doing that I used the old rod that had been cut off and put it in a drill, mounted the nozzle on that and touched up the end of the nozzle, bit by bid with a file, and smoothing it with 600 grit wet sandpaper. I did this as I noticed the nozzle needed a fair extra pull to get out of the chamber. Very nice an smooth now (left it just a bit snug still, I was worried about going too far and wrecking the airseal). Just doing a shooting test, so far up to 64 rounds on one charge. Only one instance of a non-shot (though that may have just been the bb going through an existing hole in the box) |

Got to 145 rounds before they couldn't leave the barrel. Is that what you guys have found to be normal?

I tried using the RA tech inner barrel, had the same issue.. I ditched it immediately.. works flawlessly with stock inner barrel..

Well, I use spray silicon but I don't luv the bbs (hopup becomes useless with lub on it). What ever lub is left in the barrel is left over from cleaning. But this happens only on full auto... Never on semi no matter how many rounds go through
