OPINIOINS?
I dunno, I think there's locaps now for GBBRs only up to 50 rounds as far as I've seen.

WE= Realcap= 30 rounds - $40- 50 per mag = 400 to $500 for a 10 mag loadout, you need to get 12 mags to have 10 up and working at any one time.

Gun + N-Pas+ mags+ optics+ sling= $1200 - 1800 ( depending on optic )

I have 2 WE Scars-- One for Indoor, tuned to 300 FPS
And one for Outdoor with an EGLM tuned to 430 FPS

Thanks. Just going to get better

On a side note, I am really enjoying the WE SCAR. It is a ton of fun to shoot and I really enjoy the ergonomics of the entire rifle. Glad I ditched my AR...

The feel of the SCAR is so much nicer than a M4 it's not funny, maybe some MK 17 Gas action is what I need.

My only beef with the SCAR is the lack of space on the 3 and 9 o-clock rails.
Coming from a previous URX user, I guess I am spoiled...

How's that Specter working out for you? I've tried my buddy's ACOG but the eye relief is terrible. How is it with the Specter? And is switching from 1x to 4x something you can do on the fly? How does it compare to, say, running an EoTech with a 4x separate magnifier?

I've been running an EoTech for as long as I've had my SCAR and I'm looking for a change, preferably something with magnification. I'm open to suggestions.

I think ACM did a great job with their Specter DR replica.

Mine is the 4x fixed version (ie. there is not switching from 1x to 4x).
The glass is large, crisp and has great eye relief.

The DR seems like its a perfect match for the SCAR. It does not interfere with the charging handle, which I know some optics do on the SCAR because of the way they are mounted.

Compared to an Eotech - magnifier combo, you don't have the ability to switch between a zoomed optic and a 1x, but I have a Docter mount on the top of the Specter DR. All I need is a Docter red-dot for close-up engagements which don't require magnification. That is the next item on my list...

This is my old Classic Army SCAR-L, I overhauled the mechbox, threw on a King Arms Eotech, King Arms Sniper grip and repainted it. The design is inspired by the Battlefield Bad Company 1 SCAR-L, which I posted for reference. I also drilled out the rear sight, because its goddamn impossible to see through it quickly..
Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics

Heres a couple photos of the scar before painting. Notice the change in color in different lighting:

I'm getting a VFC because they are more economical. But I'm getting the SCAR-H because of my height and such which adds a whole other dimension of mags. So if you're looking to save money in basically every area then get the VFC but if you really want the realism that bad then get the WE. It will cost you though and WE isn't a top-of-the-line brand and some of the reviews I have seen as of yet have complained about issues out of the box.
