Can I ask you a serious question, 1337 7yp1n9 4510E ? Where the fuck do you see any rails on ANY of my guns? lol. I run a PTW with an EOTech (getting a rail for a torch, and vert grip... ) and an AK74! lol.

Also, the reason why I'd get parts from a well known company is for 3 reasons. (Try to follow along)

1) Reliability.
2) Know-how.
3) Customer Service.

Not because their marketing ploy was indeed a good one, or because they had sexy half naked chicks flashing their (the company's) products in their ads (which kinda falls into the last category, but it's very noteworthy). It's simply because it WORKS. Much like why you bought a TM clone, and have a raging illogical hard-on for AKs. The Design WORKS.... therefore, you'll buy it, use it.

And, believe it or not, I bought the PTW simply because of reliability, and the fact that it's 1:1 with the RS. Kind of a selling point considering my next move, n' all.

Anyway, moving on .... The Zombpocalypse is infact coming, and I'd like to be ready for it. I guess you're okay. You can hide behind Bob The Angry Potato's Meat ....
You speak alot for some one who's "AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE" is an airsoft IPSC event.

You in fact don't run anything. You don't play airsoft.

Why own a gun for "Reliability" when you don't use it? Airsoft =/= training tool.

"YOUR FIRING DOWN RANGE, YOUR FIRING DOWN RANGE, YOUR WEAPON STOPS! WHAT DO YOU DO?

uuh.. check to see if my battery is charged?"

When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll hop on my flying pig and lance them all with my unicorn's horn.

Who says I don't use it?

lol... I'm pretty sure Alex (who's briefly seen my shooting), Mat, and the people who were AT the CAPS event can attest to my shooting (kinda sloppy at the time, but was decent none the less).

Clearly you're just trying to pull whatever bullshit can.

I've already made my point. A few times, infact. You're free to carry on in your feeble attempts at insulting/discouraging. It's rather entertaining to see ya spout shit you think you know.

Meatgazer.

You can't make a Dragunov with AEG parts. 7.62X54R Receiver =/= 7.62X39

If you want I could make you an ugly 7.62X39 AK with a long barrel and Dragunov wood... but other than that... you have 2 options that will each cost over 2 grand landed.

Also, this thread has turned from some playful jests into people taking things a little too seriously.

lol this thread is hilarious!

you cannot apply the justification for the RS gun's accessories to airsoft, ok the RDS in a CQB environment maybe, I play cqb almost every other week and I have yet to find a need for one on my gun. I will admit that it does help but it's not like you're gonna get 0 kills without one.

Airsoft AND RS AK's look alot better to me without rails and the iron sights work great for me and the millions of RS ak users worldwide. It might sound cliche when I said that rails are shitty on ak's but jeez this is the internet and it's just MY opinion as for saying that it's sheeplike of me to say so I could say the same thing about the guys who have to have every single detail match the RS but I won't because this is a game and I am not fighting for my survival, I've got tons more but hey noone cares.

I see armalites with all the tactical shit on them that are designed to help the user "portray" their RS counterpart but at the end of the day does it really help them? if it makes them feel that they are better equipped to do the job (shooting plastic pellets in a LARP scenario) then more power to 'em but as for me, I will be fine without that shit on my gun and I will still have as much fun/get as many kills/eat as much plastic as they will.

and when the zombie invasion inevitably comes, I heard that 7.62 is WAY better at dropping them than 5.56

.50 cal for having fun or those BIG zombies.
AKM as just my standard.
RPK = Zombie soup

That'd be my zombie setup.

That's just not a good idea...

You'd be lugging around 13 pounds of RPK, 8 pounds of AKM and 15-20 pounts of .50 Cal... Not including all the seperate magazines and ammunition.

For every 5.56, you can carry 6X .22LR

.22LR is quiet, and WIDELY available (Hell even walmarts in CANADA carry it)

/rant rant rant

But I'll stick to my flying pigs and unicorn lance
