ive had the pleasure of firing that exact gun used in livingtorch's videos, and it is ten times more badass in person. The sound quality just does not do each blast justice. That thing is beautiful. Or, was. Its in parts now....

Ronan... How often do you actually go out and play airsoft?
Alot of what you're saying is REALLY impractical for people that play the game on a weekly basis... That and you've greatly contradicted yourself in about 4 posts in this thread alone.. I've had the pleasure of shooting Gryphon's SP M4... The kick is fairly incredible... and it can use any standard m16 mag.. (I'd like to see you throw one of the $100 mags to the ground and reload quickly without worrying about loosing / damaging one) I've never shot an actual M4, or anything in 5.56... I can only compare it to a 7.62 shot... I'd say the Escort system blows back with roughly about 1/3rd of the force of a CZ858. The only problem with the SP M4 is the lack of hopup... but the gun is accurate enough.. It doesn't need hopup... but it defiantly could benefit from one. I use my PTW to play since i find it the most practical. Would i use a GBB riffle to play? Yes, but only during summer. So if you want to chit chat about practicality and all of that, well i would take a PTW or any orther AEG over a GBB, mainly do to the fact that i can keep shooting with no cooldown problems. Mag prices, err ok... i'll pay what i need to pay if its worth it. You won't see me pay $60 for a plastic mag, but yes i'll pay $100 for a metal mag that has BB+gas in it. Sorry but complaining about prices of mags is a bit silly, it's like buying a Porsche and complaining the tires are expensive on them... Sure the $100ish start up price is a bit high, but they will be clone and once they are more of them around they will be a bit cheaper. Considering with a full load of gas you can shoot ~100 bb's they are pretty damn good. So at the end it's again about money, comparing normal mags to gas mags (of course gas mags will be more expensive) and comparing x rig against x rig. For $600 the WA M4 gets the job done with some sweet blow back, no its not worth a PTW or one of those full metal hardcore GBB riffles but heck, big price difference. I'm not sure whats the price of an escort since i don't see any for sale around, but i'll take gas in mags over an external tank any time. Is the WA M4 the ultimate GBB riffle? No, no one said that. Is it good for the price it cost? Heck yes. Now back to topic, cast your votes and if you choose 'No, waiting for something else' then by all mean tell us what

I would but I dont really wanna reveal anything about it yet. Those who have seen the plans can confirm that its going to be the most insane AEG ever. Hopefully I'll finish it before the end of this year, maybe by the beginning of next.

Is this thread dead?
'Cause I am still looking for the most realistic all metal GBB M4. But all this chatter on how the TK GBB M4 is not skirmish worthy is tearing me apart. What ever will I do? |

or get a WA M4, but prepare to upgrade out of the box. Ill list it for you:
(Mandatory) RA-Tech Reinforced hopup chamber lots of Talfon tape to prevent leaks RA-Tech reinforced bolt stop (junk metal if you hear from most reviews) (Optional) G&P Front Set Inner Barrel (6.03mm ones) Reinforced Hammer set valve lock for magazines. Oh btw, Inokatsu m4 is said uses CO2 (which gives about 160m/s or about 525fps) or using WA's mags. |
