Well, that sucks for both of us then. You could had told me before...Since my GunsModify Steel Bolt is arriving soon I finally decided I'd just modify my SCAR's upper and be done with it (this happened on Saturday...since I didn't get a response from you in this thread for almost a week); the thing is, I didn't have the 6mm drill I needed for the hole where the allen screw goes, well, only a 5mm drill for metal, and a 6mm for wood. So I drilled with the five, then went with the 6 that's meant for wood, and things didn't end up lookin' so nice. To top it off, once I put the allen screw in relatively tight to test if the size of the hole was big enough, I had forgotten how the place where the allen key goes in the screw was a bit messed up from me trying to fit it last time, when the part had just arrived, so now I can't remove it. However, your part is relatively secured, and I guess it won't break anytime soon. It's a shame I can't even remove it now though, since I wanted to refinish the hole with the right drill, given that section is really at the far back of the receiver, and I hope the blowback doesn't end up eating what's left of my upper from that badly finished hole. But what's done's done.
Don't send the part. I have no use for it now.

Im still trying to figure out why I still do not recieve emails saying anybody has posted. Ive checked my settings and its turned on for this thread and any thread I post in. Hell I get emails from a thread I wrote in a year ago but this thread my Hybrid 66 thread and a couple others I never get an email from. Wether you need the part or not its entirely up to you, I will still send it to ya. Even if you wanna throw it away, sell it to someone else or keep it in case one day you do get the old on off.
As for being off thread for so long, I apologize I have been uber busy with new parts and a couple companies trying to contract me into work. Im still trying to make time for all this. SO again I apologize
