Or do you mean for general issue?

Take this with a large grain of salt, but the LFCA Comd was in Kingston two weeks ago for a "town hall" w/ the boys. He talked about the tacvest at great length actually and batted about "2011" for general issue... But given that this is falling under ISSP; which is CTS with a new name.. I don't have alot of faith in that date.

They haven't even started trialing these TT an SORD rigs overseas yet, it will be quite awhile before general issue comes around. An yea I'm not holding my breath for 2011.. but I have no issues with buying my own rig again to use on tour when I go back eventually. Got my own backpacks already since the small pack an it's daisy chain style of attaching pouches suck.

I actually liked the small pack, hate the attachment system, but in general, I like the pack.

Oh the pack is fine, I threw one of these on it to give it molle compatibility;

Im sure the new vest will be issued to everyone faster than most kit. Remember when the tac vest was first issued and how long it took to get it issued to everyone? The only units I remember that haven't got theirs issued is the rangers and these don't need it anyway.

ugh, who the hell brought an FLC harness? That's just making more problems lol
Atleast we're finally getting some type of MOLLE platform Canada's as advanced as the US marines with 5 times the training |

In the video? That wasn't the American FLC harness, that was a SORD rig. It's on their website. That said, the FLC is light years ahead of the current issue TV.

It's awesome to have pride in the Canadian Forces, but taking an uneducated jab at another Country's military is dumb. Last edited by -Skeletor-; October 19th, 2009 at 09:55.. |

Canadian soldiers are very well trained. But why does whether or not they are better than marines have to do with LBVs?
And which exactly is the flc? If it's the one I think it is then you sir Need to stop thinking your personal opinion is solid fact as I have zero issues with them, only problem is they don't have built in armor (much preferred by me). |

FLC - Fighting Load Carrier. Only FLC I'm aware of.
http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en...rrier&aq=f&oq= An the reason why it doesn't have "built in armour" is because it was designed to be worn over the Interceptor Body Armour. |
