i thought they were sent from the US but apparently they're sent from HK...stupid shipments from halfway around the world

funny thing abou that is that my HK shipments usually arrive before my US ones...

Yes I like it.

And yes it is shipped from HK, but by air and it only took 9 days.

FYI - Total Cost: 78.49 CND* (Item and Shp) + 11.14 Tax/Duty = $89.63

*varies on exchange rate

Yep, I paid $103, and that included an AEP mag. 9 business days, or 9 days total? The tracking system doesn't do anything, just says the item has been sent out for delivery.

The duties like I said were only like $12 so not horrible.

I never paid for any duties with ehobby asia and i ordered 4 time from him...

Well it is not so much "duty" as it is sales tax. PST and GST, there was also a handling charge by CanadaPost.

Sometimes they charge, sometimes they don't. Never figured out why, but I've ordered camera accessories from China, and was never charged a cent in duties nor taxes.

It may have soemthing to do with not actually looking at every single package coming in.

Or perhaps package origin/destination size/weight profiling?
