Then I'll try to not break it... Or I'll get an EoTech in the same style. Because I really don't want a red dot Scope, and the one I linked would be the one I want the most.

TR553. I consider it an eotech 553 knock off. Not a clone. I use it on my RS AR and so far so good. The price is right even for airsoft. Trace optics makes a few other knock offs as well.

Is the TR533 a true holographic sight then, or just another red dot in an EOTech-style housing? And where do you buy your Trace Optics sights?

Best dot I have purchased. Family has it on a AR and AK platform in the states holds a great zero, rugged little thing.

I've left mine on for 3 months at the lowest setting and the battery / optic is still good.

You will need to have some redirect the optic to you, they don't ship to Canada.
Where is it made?

i believe they are made in China. But then again, they are QC'd pretty well. I've read some review on their stuff and so far, they've been quite positive.

I believe they also work with T1 mounts, if you get the removable mount version...

if u cant afford and/or dont want a RS optic, then dont buy one. No one is forcing you. There are always cheaper clones which are perfectly acceptable in airsoft.
Others may prefer RS optics because they are 1. more durable, 2. better reticle, 3. can hold zero on gbbrs 4. dont break on gbbrs 5. waterproof
If these things dont matter much to you, then you dont have to get one. No need to get snarky about it
And dont necro post.

I use a Aimpoint Comp2 clone that I found for $10 lol It's actually a pretty darn good optic. Switches between Red and Green, and holds it's zero well.
