Ive used watson work gloves and 5.11 tactical gloves....watson gloves FTW they were 10 times better......watson for 15 bucks or 5.11 for 60, its an easy choice

WTF LOL. One day of light use and my Hatch gloves have a slight rip on one finger.

I guess I'll keep on searchin' for that heart of gold...

I've been wearing those Condor hard knuckle gloves for most of this past year (gamed weekly at the least) with no issues. We'll see how they hold up over longer periods of time, but so far they're not showing any signs of stitches popping or wearing through and I'm pretty rough on them. They're relatively maneuverable I find too, I rarely ever need to take them off to do something while I'm in game.

I'd been using nomex pilot gloves before that, but I didn't find them particularly useful for protecting your fingers and now they're mostly just my work gloves. If protection isn't an issue for you though, they let you maintain your manual dexterity really well. I usually forget I'm wearing them most of the time.

I use some "Made in Pakistan" SAP gloves. Leather palm/fingers/knuckles with steel shot sewn around the knuckles.

Even with a loose fitting size, I have no problems operating the firing controls on my M1911, M11, or even loading BBs one at a time into a GBB mag.

Surprised no one's mentioned 'em yet: CamelBak Max Grip NT USMC FROG gloves.

They offer awesome grip and excellent dexterity (enough to work small Chinese radio buttons/controls). Nomex, Kevlar and leather construction. Regular price is anything but cheap, but you can find great deals on eBay sometimes.

i used to have a pair of condor 'oakley' replica half fingers glove.
and they did self destruct after 2 rigorous uses. That's why i rather pay an extra 10-20$ than waste more on another pair.

I have the hatch Kevlar search gloves and they protect your hand pretty good, comfortable too! The only problem I have is that the cuff is so tight that after a few hours they start to cut off the circulation to my hands! And because of the cuff being that tight, the seam of the cuff on the left hand glove started to come apart! Other than those two things I love em! I just wish they had the carbon knuckle, but oh well!

So...are the gloves comfortable or do they cutoff your circulation? Those two qualities seem mutually exclusive to me.

You'd be better off with a specific pair of gloves. Search gloves are mean't to protect against cuts and pokes from needles during frisking of suspects and the inside lining is not comfortable for extended wear.
Go with some hatch tactical gloves or mechanix, aviators etc... Your hands will be much more happy.

The gloves are comfortable, it's just after wearing them for extended periods the cuff starts to cut off circulation! If the cuff wasn't so tight they'd be perfect! The lining, after a few games of wear, softens up and they are actually quite comfy on the inside but all in all, I think I may go for the Oakley tactical gloves in the future!

+1 here. They work fine for my airsoft applications. Plus, they've also saved my hands from road rash after a couple of "incidents" while riding.

Moto gloves can work because they basically have a lot of the same features as Tac gloves - Kevlar lined, knuckle/finger protection, gripping surfaces on palm and fingers, ability to work controls with them on, etc. Of course, different gloves have different features.

+1 For Hatch tactical Gloves...
I've had a pair of the Operator CQC gloves for close to 6 years now... the tips of the fingers did wear out after about 2 years... but I cut the fingers to half and they're still rockin'!
And I've used them for everything from Airsoft to Cycling to Military use to Working construction...
