Where is the best place to get one of those Sansei masks? I lost a tooth a couple of weeks ago and a mask is looking like a great idea right about now. Total cost was $1175 and 2.5 hours in the dentist chair. I figure a $20 mask may be worth saving the rest of my teeth.

I'v been shot in the mouth a couple of time, even in CQB by 350fps guns. Never lost a tooth because I don't smile on the battle field. Seriously, I make it a big deal of closing my mouth and putting my left hand in front of my mouth in tense/close situation. Not very pratical, but I prefer it to a fullface paintball mask or a broken tooth.

All my front tooth where expensively resurfaced with porcelene for an exorbiting price. I don't wanna redo it again.

The amazing thing is how having a front tooth shoot out transforms the apperance of a person from "inteligent, good looking young man" to "gap toothed yokel" instantly...

Its just a matter of time before it happens again.. as people continue to insist on playing in goggles with no face protection. In CQB with 0 distance engagements allowed... you gotta wonder what people are thinking..
really everyone should be wearing FULL FACE MASKS!! i do and will always wear full face... also i like to shoot for the head... just like ALL my video games have taught me.

side note; if you get shot in the head with a full mask you can hear it nice and loud... and it wont hurt so its a good kill.

One of these things is not like the other.....

Seriously, playing with out tooth protection is like playing hot potato with a greanade.
And players who "don't smile when they shoot, have to learn how to call hit with their mouth closed.
I got lucky and only had to shell out 350 for the dentist, wife said I could keep playing. (she was fine with the splatters knee injury too untill I let it slip that I jumped and hadn't slipped as initially reported) But yes a 2500 root canal would have put a serious damper on the uninsured players lifestyle.
So spend $10.00 save your teeth. They look cool and very CS. What needs to change is hosts need to EDUCATE noobs about the dangers of playing sans mask.
Is there a thread in the FAQ or NEWBIE GUIDE about this yet.
Cheers

Coincidentally you can spend that $10 at his conveniently located store... Especially if you're a TWAT player.

A BB left a hole clean through my hatch nomex lightweight balaclava (tan ).
There were chunks and powder in my mouth. Now I use my rugby mouth guard.

Too bad both my front teeth are fake now

I look down or turn around to yell HIT.
Together with raising both arms and taking the red flag out, no problems.
