12v for M110 is pretty awesome.

The ROF is devastating.

Yeah, I don't think you want to cut up a Systema battery. They're such a work of art, and they'd fall apart and force you to fix the unnecessary.

really curious to find out the fps on the m130.
our field fps is 400fps, obviously the m130 is going to be over that, but after spring drop, by how much would you say brad or brian?

If you buy a spring and cut it, you can make it whatever FPS you want. But the M110 is in the right area for you without changes.

Some guys have chrono'd the M130 as high as 450 and as low as 420 fps. Springs are not a precise sciense and there's always going to be some allowed deviation from the manufacturer.

I know Gish won't allow the M130 at JOC milsims, which is fine as the M110 has very good range, nearly as good as the M130 in my guns, but not as good as the M150.

Hmm, while we're at it, what kind of threading does the barrel have for attaching silencers, flash hiders, etc...?

I'm seriously considering buying one
I'm just wondering if its better (performance wise) to upgrade the sh*t out of my current G&P M4 (full prometheus internals + 6.03 barrel), or buy a systema PTW
I'm not worried about the money only which will have better range and grouping

Don't forget reliability. A factory assembled and QC'd MAX PTW vs. a gun you put together yourself with a a hodge-podge of parts (G&P, Prometheus, maybe a Systema motor, etc., etc.). There may be guns out there more accurate. There may be guns out there more powerful. And there may be guns out there as flexible (like ICS split gearbox). But there are no guns out there that are more accurate, powerful and flexible all in the same gun. Add to that the best parts possible and a few years to engineer out the bugs that always crop up into machines and you have simply the best gun there is.

You could spend an unlimited amount of money on any gun upgrading it and still not have the attributes of a PTW.

But I do recommend getting the gun in it's assembled form. You may be able to do it, but different kits have different levels of assembly and they are not like any other guns out there. Any experience you have with other guns means exactly jack when dealing with the PTW. If you buy one built, you will be guaranteed it works out of the box and not be subject to your assembly skills, accidents or oversights during assembly.

It costs more, but it's worth it in the end.

why can't prometheus make an armalite series? it would be the master god of all airsoft guns lol
bottom line is if it won't shoot as far or as straight as my HK11, then it's not really worth getting for me cost wise.
so i'll try to find a local with a PTW and compare it with my HK11 when i go out to the field tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes if i can do the test
