Where the heck does one get LCT ak's from? They all shoot around 300-320fps according to all the overseas websites making them extremely hard to bring in. I've been salivating over their vast selections for many months now.

Update:

Wound up with a bit of function over form here, I picked up a g36 red dot/laser combo and a riser for it. After some zeroing it works phenomenally.
Grabbed a couple of RPK-length mags. AK's seem to be the only AR I can stand to see extended mags for.

I'm considering picking up a couple more external parts, in particular a 104-style gas tube front sight and a lug where the stock fs used to be, to hold the rod in place.

Wow, I actually really like the look of that. How does the scope co-witness with your front sight?

With that riser, it won't.

Not at all, it sits just above. I would have put it on the rail itself, but that sight has mad love handles so the riser is entirely necessary D:

The RPK mags look great! Cool looking AIMs!

A quick wrap-job on the skeleton stock

Just got this gun on Thursday, so it's still a work in progress.

Been seeing more and more people wrapping cord around the triangle stock...is there a reason?
Nothing against it...just wondering

So their cheeks don't freeze to the stock in the Russian winter.

My friend just bought one of Romanian AIMS from Airsoftgear.ca and it was shooting consistently between 395-400 fps right out of the box.

They just got their order on Friday and haven't update the page yet, but they were selling pretty fast. Maybe they were upgraded before they were shipped, who knows.
