Bravo - 94
Alpha - 70 United Nations - 55 = 219 signed up! 1 1/2 months remaining till the cut off date of May 16th for registration and prepayment to get yourself in another piece of Canadian Airsoft history! Last years event had 297 players, lets see if we can break 300 this year and make one for the record books. Need more Alpha team players to bring their #'s back up to par with Bravo, or even a few more so my BB's have more targets to hit To sign up and more information visit: http://forum.operationmasonrelic.com/ All teams are open to sign ups currently |

This is a n00b question but how does the UN figure into this? Are they going to be a team very actively engaged in combat as well?

Will there be any souvenirs for this event (besides BB scars)? Might be kind of cool if there were commemorative key chains, shirts, or a "mission patch".

Counterfeit Combat is very pleased to announce that the Canadian Forces will be attending Operation Mason Relic III - May 28th 29th 2011 Claybank Saskatchewan.
The Canadian Forces met with Al of Counterfeit Combat and almost immediately wanted to be involved with this event. This will again open more doors for the Canadian Airsoft community, and further legitimize our growing sport. Having the CF being involved with a large Airsoft event is a giant step forward. They will be setting up a mini base and will be bringing some of their vehicles to show off, including their new MSVS http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/land-te...ng.asp?id=3710 as well as their G-Wagon. http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/land-te...sp?product=138 They will also have a number of real firearms on display for players to view. I have a few things that i need to accomplish that same weekend. Does anybody know the itinerary roughly so i can slot stuff in? Not just start and stop times each day but also any breaks over an hour. That would be great. Thanks

If its the same as previous years plan to start briefing at about 9am, playing around 10:30 till about 6ish (eat in the field). Day 2 start at about 10am play till about 6ish. Brief breaks between smaller (1hour to 2 hourish games), 1/2hr lunch break if you want to stop.

Here it is!!
YouTube - Operation Mason Relic II.wmv Just a reminder, this video was shot with a TV pilot in mind, so there was a lot more emphasis put on players, rather then playing, vehicles, terrain, etc. Plus the footage that was shot Saturday in the Massold Canyons did not really turn out because of the incredible amount af rain that hit us.
