1) Order desired quantity of MOE (they are really just repackaged Gen 2) PMags for $20-$25 each readily available in Canada

2) Go buy a Dremel, if you don't already have one

3) ???

4) Profit

For a minimum of time and material, you can have real PMags with the Systema internal you harvest from your metal mags.

Easy.

I never had this issue. I normally preload my mag the day before game, sometimes they're left loaded 2-3 days after game. I don't load my mag more than 60 rounds though. I find their spring to be stronger than Rampo's and stock Systema

Link I posted is just a shell, not a complete vanaras mag
Although it's just a polymer shell, not an actual PMAG

I always load mine to 30 rnds. when I had purchased them long ago was when FCC/Rampo had them out, they were good but since last year the quality of the springs has been horrible they got soft real quick, I was actually thinking about putting the systema internals in them until the guys at FCC told me they are dropping Vanaras and switching to MAGS internals for their line. I was skeptical at first but after trying it in HK I was hooked, the funny part was Alfred the rep from Vanaras in HK even admit that their product has suffered after his partner decide to switch to a different OEM to cut cost.

I know Frank, actually that is the same one that RAMPO designed for them and FCC before FCC drop Vanaras.

I agree Kull, I've never had any problems with soft/weakened springs from any of my Vanaras internals!

Systema PTW Basic Info and FAQ

Question

2012 ptw , m130 spring fcc2.5 motor

Symptoms:

weird sound when in auto,

after unloading a +-80round mag ( 50% semi / 50% auto ) motor is hot ( can feel it trough the handle )

First teeth in the cylinder looks shiny

And It look like steel dust around the exposed gear

Also does the kind of "cam " or incomplète gear is supposed to Stop at the same position in semi and auto ? Mine always stop at the same place in semi... ( like a couple teet Out in the front ) but not in full

Thanks

First guess I'd say motor height problem, grinding away the pinion or bevel

The cylinder is most likely fatally flawed. I have seen this problem a dozen times now. Eventually, there will be enough wear on the rack gear and sector gear to allow them to to bypass each other.

There is no fix for this problem. The problem is the cylinder, and it is an issue of tolerance between the piston and piston track. A Velocity piston fits the stainless cylinders better than the Systema one does.

You can tell if you have a cylinder that will fail. If it is flawed, failure is 100% guaranteed within a few thousand rounds. If there is play up and down in the piston, and you can use a screwdriver to check it, it will fail.

Buying a new cylinder does not guarantee that the new one is any better.

No, the Velocity ones are a little oversized, so they work in the over-spec Systema stainless ones. It is just a rare plus of the tolerance game.

Do you suggest to change the sector gear to ? Or the weak is not that significant

Yes, replace the sector gear.

hey guys,

FCC/SYSTEMA question:

im am currently using an FCC Training Weapon (FTW) 7.5" and recently while at a skirm, my pistonhead broke off from the piston. while the pistondhead seems to have suffered no damage (optical check) the piston itself however has suffered major damage, meaning that the screw that holds the pistonhead into place ( ive read this thread and someone was having dificulties to loosen that actual screw) has broken off a piece of the piston...

the search for a replacement piston is driving me nuts actually, as i seem not able to find one, so my question to you is:

will a systema piston fit inside an FCC velocity cilynderset?
