Their in-store computer shows they are supposed to carry the broxas. They are backordered though as they don't have any to ship from the states or even any for the US mail order catalogue- maybe waiting on Aftermath to ship them more. I think the Broxa was on clearance. I can't remember, but I think they said there was a standing order for some that they are waiting to be filled.
Apparently the manager is trying to get the Lycao in, for which they do have stock in the US. Hopefully we'll see those in a couple weeks. oh yeah, apparently there is also another TF-16 that is on order but they said it should arrive sometime this week. The lycaon is crap! wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole! If the broxa is 3/4 as good as the kraken then I'll pick one up!

I was at bass pro shops today. The Broxa revolution finally arrived, but price is now $150. They got lots more krakens today (18 I think).

holy shit they sell like hotcakes 18 krakens you say, I was at Basspro just an hour before they closed and all they had was shitsoft and Crosman g3's. Tatical force MP7's are also being sold at $99 if I remembered correctly but they too where sold out.

You may have just missed it then. They stock in the morning and were refreshing some of their stock at 9:30pm before close. They only put enough of each item to fill their pegs at a time so when it sells out it looks like they are out of everything, but they may have lots more in the back. With the krakens and broxas, that's three boxes only on the shelf at a time.
Best bet is to go in the morning when they have restocked, or at night when they may have new shipments still in the back waiting to be stocked. Or you can try to get someone to go back and look for you, but good luck with that. |

A standard MP5 front end can replace that....

Are you sure that it is the Broxa and not a Tactical Force TF5 that BassPro has?
I was just there yesterday morning and the only guns with metal gearboxes were the Kraken, Tactical Force TF7, and Tactical Force TF16 (out of stock) BTW the staff is real busy right now (and seem quite irritable too) with their big sale and everything. I saw one guy making inventory notes in the airgun dept., so who knows if they'll be bringing more in soon or not. He told me that the only models they had were those which were on display. yep 100% it's a aftermath broxa evolution. $149.99. When I went they had just put them out and didn't even have a spot for them. they were just on the shelf under the TF7's.
If you call, you can ask them to check and see if they are in yet. you can quote number from the website - 38-888-976-00 : http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st..._SearchResults or ask them to check their SKU number -1374299. it's new, but they are supposed to be stocking the broxas. |

Thanks, Gambut.
Been looking at reviews on the Broxa, and it looks like a decent starter gun for me that's TM compatible. Metal lowcaps are available from buyairsoft.ca. Cheers! |

I'm not sure if this information has been posted or not (if so please pardon me).
I'm from Xtreme Tactics in Winnipeg MB and we see lots of Krakens coming in (either for gaming or servicing). And I think the following would be a good bit of info to know: 1. The Krakens that comes with the "black" hop up chambers (newer batch) shoots "hotter" (on average they chrono at low 400FPS) while the older batch with comes with "white" hop up chambers typically chrono's at around 300-330FPS. 2. 90% of the Krakens we have in for servicing (not shooting/no response problems) is due to an excessive amount of grease by the trigger contacts. Hope that helps Gord |

wow yea that is good to know cuz i have a lot of lithium grease, bearing oil, and cylinder oil in mine. hope it all stays where its sposed to be and doesnt migrate up in the trigger area

that was EXACTLY the problem I had with mine! What with the heat and humidity we've had around here....I can only imagine that the goo became more viscous and gravity took over. it migrated right down into the trigger area. After having my buddy take it apart, he cleaned her up and now the Kraken works like a charm.
