Not to be a lazy bastard, but I'm curious where you attained all of your uniform/gear. There are a lot of places selling bits of everything (so I'm going to assume to got from a bunch of different places) but I have to ask for the source in hopes of just getting from one place rather then paying $100's in shipping from different places.

No problemo bud, pretty much everything came from this one site apart from the helmet and PPsh41 itself: http://www.tridentmilitary.com/

They are a bit expensive but they have everything you need in any size (including XXL for big lads like me!)

Click on the "Soviet WW2" tab then the "Soviet WW2 package deals" you can pretty much get any look you want!

Its a one shop stop for the whole impression!

Thanks! I've always wondered about this place...

Now, being on the 24 x normal potato ration, and seeing that they've also given you more than a few potatoes, gives me more confidence that I wont receive horribly wrong sized gear.

Yes, my brother in law is a senior party member so my potato ration is considerably higher than most!

Very nice kit. But a rifleman usually carries a rifle, not a PPsH.

very nice post. But a douchebag usually acts like a douchebag, not a fag.

Wrong, By the end of WW2, the red army would equip entire regiment (even some division) entirely with PPSH-41 to increase short range firepower (By the end of World War 2, 17.4 millions Mosin Nagant were issued compared to roughly 6 Millions PPSH-41; however, as the war progressed PPSH-41 became a lot more common - So much so that the Wehrmacht would issue captured PPSH-41 to their troops fighting on the eastern front and by the end of 1944, It was the second most used submachine guns by the Wehrmacht (MP40 being the first)).
Hence why, Beastor's rifleman impression is historically accurate since it is a very late war impression.
