I know that Marui makes them with 280fps but with a non-ported cylinder? Hmmm I think I would trust Marui to do it better than the crud I pulled out from his gun from A&K. And to top it off it had bad range and a troubling hop-up. Accuracy and range failed as well.
Thanks though, my shame has shrunk a little.

Sorry I was not clear.
The A&K M4 (363mm)was not marui, it had similar chrono rating as marui but did not perform well compared to the cybergun SIG 552 (247mm). Also the M4 by A&K had a non-ported cylinder.

Funny thing about ACMs... If I'm not mistaken, all AnK comes with type0 cylinder while all JG comes with type2 cylinders. One size fits all kinda deal.
IMHO, the word 'louder' is very much subjective. Maybe the OP would like to explain further how it sounds louder? Is it a louder whining?/grinding sound? That would be gears related. Quote:
A metal piston head will give a louder impact noise. With both ends bearing, it's pre-compressing the gears, which in turn will give a harder impact (high FPS), which might also cause higher impact noise. |
