Simply put, for you to understand—

It's just history repeating itself.
These kind of mags already failed
the test of time, and proved
impractical on a better platform.
Why would they change on a TM
one? Just another TM flavor of
the month to blow cash on.

Older 50rd mags for WA and KSC
were designed for full auto pistols.
Only makes sense for the Extreme.
On a 5.1, you'll just be another
hicap noob without any reload skills

Failed because they're impratical? Or some other reason?
Just wondering.

On a more constructive note...

Since the TM Hicapa design is a split 2 part frame...and the mag catch is located in the lower plastic grip, it might not be the wisest thing to have an even heavier hunk of weight that is long and bound to be caught/wacked on things hanging from it.

It's well known that the seal between the top of the mag and the nozzle is key...and if the grip drops that'll be compromised. As well...wonky things like the the grip safety not engaging start to happen when the grip drops from the frame.

I'm sure the TM extended mag is built well though...silly, but well built.

Yes Tys, that's a few of the concerns...
but never was a problem on WA. The
mags were built like a tank and sat fine.
Weight/length was a pain in a holster,
in a vest it's in the way of your kit, on
your drop leg it's flailing around, bashing
off everything.

It's a fun novelty for full auto guns.
Not fieldable unless as a backup mag
in a pouch.

Posted my opinion because I've some
experience with this kind of mag, I've
owned many and the kind of gun it's
meant for. You want relevant info from
people who know what their talking about?
Doubtful.

PS: mine is still stock, no broken or worn
out parts, no leaks, 10 years old. Simply
useles for a milsim player.

Edit: PPS: Forgot to mention that cool
down was not really an issue. These
kind of mags can empty in under 3 sec.
FPS isn't very consistent, but on FA
you can law down a hail of bbs much
like an m203 shell. Using it to burst
fire will cause more cool down than
emptying the mag in one go. This kind
of play is best left to the GBB SMG's
IMO. Did I say it's also Fugly?

I think someone should make a GBB machine pistol in the style of TEC-9 or something using these.....waiting for someone bored to try it out....

LOL...winter project...Hicapa-GBBR transformer kit. Better off to do it in polymer/plastic? Or just a bolt on kit to the mid-frame?

For whatever reason the Hicapa mags have always reminded me of the Alien Pulse Rifle mags.

Yah it was a big novelty. The FA
burns through the sear set quickly
and neither WA nor 3rd parties
made any replacement parts. You
could salvage one to semi only but..

I've had 7 Prokillers, one of the '01
models that had a very long inner
barrel like that beast. FPS was high
and the kick was massive. I use an
old comped Prokiller inner barrel in
my standard SV5, gives me 315fps
consistently on .25's at room temp.

But to answer your question— didn't
WA just start the GBBR revolution?

Styrak. You'll have to forgive safx. I think he was violated with an old WA magna some time ago and enjoyed it so he has had an obsession with them ever since.lol.

A buddy in Our club has these "huge GBB Mag"; not so much GBB, but Hicap none the less. He uses them for his TM Glock AEP, and they work great. They hold 200 rounds, hence hicap", although no need for winding. Look awesome too in my opinion.
