The plastic ones are fine, for what, $10 a piece?
I filled em with expanding foam. They feel nice and rigid. Too bad the dimensions are slightly off.

I'd like to try the real plates to compare. I love my fake SAPI because they are rigid, but I'd like them to have the same weight, thickness and curve of the real one.

If anyone's looking for cheap ACTUAL plates, Line of Fire is selling their own proprietary material ones. The Level IIIA standalones are barely $180 if I recall.

They're plates have failed to meet the claims they make several times IIRC, shady Armour company if you ask me can always buy from MSA which is considered Reputable.

Couldn't the foam in the swimming board be heated, and bent to a shape? Or would it burn first?

Well that's good to know. I didn't buy from them for lack of info on their 'proprietary resin' or whatnot. Figured it wouldn't be a big deal for airsofters.

The foam on the swimming board isn't those foams used for the swimming noodles. Not sure how to say it, but the foam is like rubber? lol
