Here we go again. Purists attack a HONEST guy with stupid fucking comments about shit he doesn't care about. Seriously. I sometimes weep for the lack of common sense on the interwabs.

xPhuong, if you go ahead with this, I suggest in looking for the following. It's more practical, and much nicer to look at :

Railed gas-tube.
FN Gunner grip, alternatively known as a "saw" grip (as it is found on FN SAWs).
LMT style crane stock (preferably G&P.. I like their plastic).
LASTLY, an aimpoint replica, or real-deal weapon sight.

There you have it. All business AK, with a modernized PMC touch.

Don't let the Purists get ya down. I think they're stuck in Red Dawn, or something.

alright time to break the code of the purist for ol bowers sorry gents

first off let me get this out of my system

YUCK!

alright now down to business in MY personal opinion if i was going to use a collapsable stock i would rather use a 4 position stock then that crane stock as for the RIS theres one made by surefire designed for ak's which in my personal opinion looks alot nicer and in a weird way more AK like (could be just me though)

granted no companys have a clone of this as far as i know and knowing surefire its most likely expensive as FUCK!

to give you an idea about the ris here it is on a tantal AK-74

that EOtech and PEQ would have go for me though just looks way to bulky for my tastes the sight on your "PMC" setup is a aimpoint micro yes? that could work but i think id rather a M68 me thinks

for a Flashlight i dont know probably whatever i can find with the mounting gear for an affordable price and id probably keep that vert grip on your example

if you havent caught on my prefence is geared to a more slimmer less bulky rifle could be the picture but yours looks a touch long for my liking

there playtimes over back to reality

WOOD AND STEEL!!!! NO RAILS!!!

I eventually went to the under folding stock, which again presented another modding opportunity. Note the chopped barrel and modded front sight for cqc. Some guys hate the modernized AK but you know what they say about opinions and buttholes. I scrapped it for parts to use in other projects and sold the rest. I grabbing a kraken from shelledpants tomorrow which I plan on going wood with though.

Google "AK railed gastube". You should get isolated pictures.

Anyway, if you need help bud, let me know.

People who tell others not to put things on their guns (accessories, that is, such as certain optics, silencers, rail units, stocks, etc) really need to rethink some stuff. Sure, maybe you don't like that. Maybe you like the realism aspect of an AK with nothing but wood furniture or proper stocks. However, that gives you no right, whatsoever, to shit on somebodys thread who is just asking for some opinions and help with a project. He happens to like the railed look, so what? You probably won't ever see him at a game, so you won't have to worry about seeing his rifle.

Seriously, when you come into a thread like this, either answer the guy and help him out, or point him to someone who can. Do NOT share your opinion that this guy doesn't want to hear, that AK's shouldn't have rails or those stocks, because in your mind, sure they shouldn't have them. But, they make these products, so clearly, some people out there think they should.

And for all those people who love to bash other people who don't make an AK that they deem 100% accurate... Seriously? Is it that big a deal to you? Then that is sad. And if you ever post a pic of any gun that has never, in its exact configuration, seen service, then I hope people shit all over your thread too.

I mean no offence to anyone, but I see people in other threads all of the time saying, hey don't bash him, if he likes it then let him go for it, yet the people who are dead set on these 100% accurate AKs seem to get away with this unchecked.
[/rant]

Sorry to make an irrelevant post, but xPhuong, take their advice. Expect it to need a little bit of slight mods to fit.
And kos, nice AK, I actually kind of like it, and I rarely like AK's.
And bowers, that pic of the AK with the 4pos stock and surefire rail.... Mmmm.. Only AK I've seen that I would actually buy if there were an AS version.

Thank you! That's all I'm saying. Don't like it? fuck off. LOOK AT THE THREAD's TITLE. It's clearly not about Spetznaz impressions.

Also, Ujiro, that's not my AK. It's a RS Norinco, or Polytec AK. I wish I had one though

Do what makes you comfortable. If a RealSword AK with tactical shit makes you happy, and you're comfy with it. Gitter done.
