I would suggest going with a metal body, as a new one piece may help with barrel wobble, if you think about it, barrel wobble occurs at the base of the barrel where it connects inside the plastic upper reciever, eliminate the flexible plastic and you should eliminate barrel wobble. Although this is more expensive than a new barrel, its also a great durability upgrade as well.

tokyo is correct but thats mostly flex it will get worse over time due to the retainers but i ment the crappy 3 peice barrel with in 2 weeks it was looser than a goose and it was flexin every were, it was a cheep sugestion and will temperoanly fix it. the only way to fit it permitly is with a metal body and one peice barrel system!

I have a JG m733 and although it needs a few upgrades out of the box, like metal bushings, and the barrel does begin to wobble significantly, I found it to be a very good gun. If you need parts, all TM parts will work with JG guns and to fix the barrel wobble I had a buddy put some Loctite in the screwholes in the barrel. It's not easy to replace the barrel after you do so, but I never had it wobble again.

As you've rightfully heard, JG make some good guns, and IMO, they're the best bang for the buck you'll get out of any gun in Canada. They make excellent starter guns, and with a bit of work, can hold their own with any of the big name brands in terms of reliability and performance. I have 2 JGs with stock internals and they've performed admirably even compared to my more expensive guns.

For the price of a JG + metal body + one piece barrel and all that... You could just buy a CA... And a stock CA gun compared to a stock JG gun is pretty much no contest. The CA will blow it out of the water (In every aspect, except maybe FPS)

Ok.

Styrak- Sorry, but I have already set it up to buy from Bob the Angry Potato.

T7- I might look into a metal receiver eventually, but how noticeable is the wobble? Does it affect the accuracy or FPS, anything besides just the feel? Metal bodies are around the 100-200$ range depending on the make and model, am I correct?

Amos- Sorry, I'm not looking to spend that much money off the bat, I'm looking more into a long-term project.

How much is the JG you're looking at? You might want to consider one of them G&G with the clear/tinted lower instead. Everything that should be metal is metal, except the lower receiver.

You can do much better for a little bit more.

http://www.canadianairgunsupply.com/.../electric-guns

Find someone who carries their most recent G&G. Tinted lower receiver, and they now include battery.
