Whatever they cost in the US, we pay anywhere from 2-4 times the price here. For my AEGs alone, I'm looking at a price tag of about $4000.

Here's the rough cost of my AEGs so far...

CA M15A4: About $725 (including battery and charger)
C8A2: at about $1000 so far, and still needs work
Real Sword Type 56: $890
JG H&K 416: $360
JG MP5-J: $280
A&K M249: got it on a trade, but they sell for close to $800.

And that's NOT including several hundred dollars' worth of upgrades and accessories.

Don't start upgrading it unless you have a problem with something. It shoots hard out of the box, so no need to upgrade the internals to get it to decent gaming velocities (like TM shooting 280 fps). If you NEED an upgrade, you'll know it after using it for a while.

If you want to accessorize it, a red dot sight or some magnifying optic (like an ACOG or ELCAN replica at 3x magnification) would be useful.

all you'll really want to upgrade (if it's the newer JG with good mechboxes) is maybe a better rail system (that one wobbles a bit) and a metal body.

My 416 (uses same 8.4v 1500mah battery cells) lasts all day for me.
