Personally I'd say have him stick to paintball for a few more years despite the cost difference. I really wish there was an age limit here in the US.

You're his father, you tell us whether you think your own son is mature enough with something like that. We really have no idea.

This forum will say NO because of his age, but overlooking his age, I think he's a big enough boy to handle the "dangerous" issue of the launcher, is it safe? to an extent. should you allow it? your choice.

Yeah, it's safe to use or else they wouldn't sell it. However, as said before, we don't condone giving advice to minors OR parents wanting to buy for their children.

No. It is very unsafe. That's why it's on the market! Damn Taiwanese are trying to take over the world by slowly killing us one by one with cool products that blow up in our faces when we least expect it. Best stick with paintball.

Oh man... that was fun.

I miss that guy.

+1 to you making up your own mind. You're a father, the guy in charge. You know your son better than most, and better than us for sure.

It's a toy that fires BBs out... do you think it is safe for your son and his friends, knowing what you know about them?

if you dont like the idea of propane theres grenades that use CO2 the only problem is there only for the launchers (as far as i know) and youll have to by an adaptor so its at least 150 dollars more expensive than the other one (in canada thats closer to 500)

That's a lie! I'm pretty sure MadMax is not Taiwanese and I saw someone survive nading himself in the face last weekend. I almost died laughing, though.

I have seen guys use these first hand. Make sure he has goggles on, stay with him when he first uses it. If he is stupid, take it away.

I was 15 when I had my first airsoft gun...I turned out fine.
