And I thought my STAR M60 firing the hopup rubber out of the barrel was weird.

Looks like either a work hardening fault or poor tempering of the spring, I'm going to put my money on the latter.
That's a really weird thing to happen, considering prometheus doesn't even make tappet plates because they can't make them to their high standards of reliability.

Haha, if only that Deraj fellow was here to see that one... Though I wonder whatever happened to him.


As for the spring, wtf! Even with the piston cycling, I'd never have thought it'd do that to a broken spring.

Nope, nothing else was damaged, just some faint scratches inside the piston. Ill know more when I get the new spring in and see how it works after.
