I got myself a leupold M1 illuminated scope replica (from G&P) these little buggers are amazing. Excellent clarity and very nice FOV. The illumination settings are great at the lowest, it can be very usefull at night game. I know we just played one the very last week end!

So far I used a Bushnell 3-9x40mm scope, the cheapest I could find that was in stock at Walmart (30 min. before leaving for a game)

I have yet to have problems with it.

It is in the sportsman series, was 80$ at the time. The reticule is some shade of dark brownish color, so even when aiming at something dark, you can clearly see it.

I never used it at full night yet, but I would say an illuminated scope must be a bit blinding. Well, from the past experience I had with a RDS in very dark conditions.

If you need one, get some cheap batteries, or almost dead ones, it might help reduce the glare. Or find a 1.5v in the size of a 3v cell.
