some thing that you will want to look at is eye releif as well. I picked up a leapers 4x28 tac scope some time ago and will never go back. Great for spoting I can easily look thru it and not have to come even close to pushing my goggles(Bolle T800) , great sight picture, works well in low light, and dosen't really limit my field of view as much as other models.

I picked up a 60$ US tasco I had laying in my room from a .30-.30 marlin I just sold and grabbed a cheap NCstar riser. I like being able to see what I'm looking at through it, and I like being able to watch the bb's hit.....I can't see them on my m16's far end range......and it's going to get worse when I go to black or green BB's and upgrade the gun a little more..

Interesting stuff guys. Thanks a lot for the input.
Does anyone on here use binoculars as opposed to scopes? If so, what has your experience been running around with one? |

What do you mean, use a binoculars? For spotting? Problem with binoculars is that one's protective goggles usually does not permit a binoculars to be brought close enough to the eyes to see clearly.

Well, I doubt that having a fixed scope on a rifle is any easier if you are wearing goggles.
From what I am hearing, buying a scope isn't really worth the expense. |

i disagree. i think scopes are extreemly useful - for spotting, recon ect. rds i feel are useless, i would much rather use iron sights, but that s a persona; opinion.
