Word is* airsoft CASV fit real steel, so it should fit PTWs just fine. As long you have a realistic style/size barrel nut, you're fine.
(* yes, I know for a fact)

I have an ARMS #46C SIR and #40 on the CQB-R. A vertical grip and a quick-aim sight is all you really need. Laser are beyond useless (and banned at many fields), lights are fine if you do CQB in darkened areas, but otherwise completely useless.
Remember, that a stock PTW with a modest rail, sight and battery will weigh about 11 pounds, give or take. You may want to really think about keeping just the bare minimum on the gun, or learn to deal with the weight.

Save your money for spare mags and cylinders.

Yes did you get Max or Max2, if you have not ordered yet I would suggest Max2 version because you get the M90 cylinder which takes care of the CQB part. The M150 cylinder is nice to have and see what I can blink through but, I wish I had gotten Max2. Than get blue M110 and some spare mags at least 5(The weight of 5 alone is enough).

so true, my first game with my PTW had me dragging my ass a bit. I couldn't believe how much a few pounds feels when you have to swing it around. I really had to rethink my strategy at times.

I had a systema m16-a2 (but with flat-top reciever)
I'm getting an M4-length barrel for it and installing a knights armament rail system. I'll add some sort of scope on either the carry handle or get a raiser and mount it right on the reciever. I don't find the PTW to be too much heavier than my classic army m15.... i dunno. I've been running around with an m249 recently so I don't really notice the weight.

Only thing I changed on my PTW is the carry handle, to a cut-down one. It's so beautiful as it is...
