i'm slowly getting into airsoft myself having played paintball way back when.

I still have my 'cocker, serial # 23210.

When I played paintball, I did not like having to clean my gear after each session. Chopping/breaking paint, geez, that sucked, you end up dumping the paint thats covered in paint.

Firing live rounds at a range, well, thats costly and not to mention, not much fun in terms of tactics and communications.

Unless you play paintball on a team for speedball, there is not much communication and tactics involved. Everyone petty much does their own thing and there is no real standard form of communication with hand signals or verbal either.

I'm looking forward to going down to TTAC3 to get "verified".

This is really hampering my money saving mode I'm mentally in right now.

I played and still Play Woodsball. It was a very easy transition because when we actually work as teams and sneak around so switching was no big deal. i have to say that there are a couple of advantages to airsoft though such as cheaper to stay playin after initial cost of gear, and the guns are more acurate, though i made a hit with my tippman from 60ft popping over a bunker for about 5 sec. I love woodsball and wont but quiting but i will be donig more airsoft it is cheaper.

It has the potential to be more tactical, but it really loses something if everyone except a few are using high-caps all the time and can sustain fire for WAY longer than their gun normally should be able to...
