Ok, sorry to bring my thread back to life but i am once again in the ?_?

It's easier and a bit cheaper for me to go with a CA25. But like always i prefer quality/performance over cheapness.

I have been going back and forth between the G&P SR25 and the CA25. I literaly have half the people tell me the G&P is better and the other half tell me the CA25 is better.

Does anyone own one or the other and what can you tell me about it?

Thx

Oh btw, is it true that metal guns are fragile? Sounds a bit wierd, especialy since my friend's full metal FAMAS is far from being fragile.

I really don't have any experience with G&P's version, but CAs is great. Mine shoots over 400fps out of the box. Sturdy and now CA has released a non-hicap version of the mag (which I thought was definitely needed). If you get yourself age verified, you'll see two very nice versions of CA's for sale in the forums. One is the newer version shooting over 400fps and the other is the older version shooting around 330fps. Both are top notch.

As for metal guns being fragile, I've owned both plastic and metal versions of m4's and I would say that neither should be considered fragile. Neither are indestructable though.

frankiet, is your CA25 the one with the right metal body??

I'm looking for a CA25 base that has the correct measurements for the metal body. Older Classic Army had the top rail a little bit too high.

Not sure exactly what you're asking. Are you looking to buy, or just looking for measurements? I do have something in the classifieds, as well as a review on the CA 25. If you do need something more, PM me.

God the 25K URX like... with the fat 762 mag like...

it looks so big

...and thats what she said

and does anyone know if theres any either adaptors for 5.56 sized mags to fit in SR-25s, so I can use a tiny standard cap mag, of do they make the shortend 7.62 size mags cause I dont like big mags on a sniper rifle... Especially hi caps. Most fields wont allow snipers to use em.

And phenomon they are G&P metal 170bb mags for the G&P RS-25.
170 is midcap territory. Lowcaps are 80 and below.

But... you want an adaptor to use 5.56 mags in your SR25? Or shorter SR25 mags? I'm completely fucking confused.

But it still doesn't make any sense! This is gonna bother me for weeks. 5.56 adaptor for an SR25? My mind is still spinning.
