lille coment...
systema is the best thing i have ever seen! it performs better than al other aegs...
stop shooting ads realism
wheiht and size is same as real
quality is outstanding
price is very high, but worth the money (at least for me)
if you tune a normal aeg up to such a performance, you wont spent very much less than for a systema... but a systema will be much more durable

cheers

Had I known you were in Israel, the recommendations would have been totally different. My reply fit the information I had at the time.
No, you dont need to be age-verified there. It's only required in Canada.

Why buy an airsoft there? Is the sport played enough to make it worth it? Can you not get the real guns with less problems?

Being a Systema owner myself, I can tell you their engineering and craftsmanship are second to none. I have opened up guns from pretty much every manufacturer and they're all slight variations on a common theme. Systema PTWs are completely different. No other parts are compatible from any other manufacturer.

The MAX series come with an M150 cylinder kit and all others models are rated for use with the M130 kit right out of the box. Accuracy of the stock PTW differs little from any other AEG, and tightbore barrels are available for the PTW. You can change a barrel assembly in a PTW in less than 30 seconds.

Many guys are fearful because of the price and the logic that it's a very expensive gun that will break just like a Marui or CA. That just is ignorance talking. Those that have never even seen one have no business even posting in this thread, let alone offering opinions like "I'll stick to Marui" or garbage like that.

If you have ever seen, used or owned a PTW, you WILL understand. They are the best AEG out there. Period!!!!

Exactly what does age verification have to do with magazine and battery compatibility?

If you want to know about gun parts, you probably intend to buy the gun. So that's what age-verification has to do with it.

What I am curious about now is if airsoft is popular in Israel in the first place. If not, then the expense to buy the Systema makes little sense. Not saying it's bad, far from it, but it IS costly.

If you dont really play, it's cost becomes a factor. If real guns are more available at a lower price, that also becomes a factor.

relax. Regardless of your opinion towards greylocks, telling someone new to get age verified is always good advice. Lets face it, being age verified can make some information easier to obtain.

back on topic, I gotta say, that the "You should see a doctor about that, cause really, the PTW is NOTHING amazing, it's not even good. It's a friggin money pit. Batteries are expensive and must be Systema. Mags are bloody expensive and must be systema. The receiver is'nt made from top quality materials, and looks ###### compared to a Guarder receiver. Accuracy is utter *beep*, and after spending $250 on a custom barrel, its now average." is the craziest thing I have seen all week except for that video of the asian chick with the octopus up her who-who

You should keep in mind, that the person you quoted, LoneWolf, on arnies, has been very back and forth on his PTW comments, and in reality, his statement is very much in the minority. On arnies, people either low the PTW or hate it, and IMHO, it burns down to basic regular AEG fanboy-ism. Some people are very protective of their guns, and dont like the fact that their sweet baby is not the hottest thing out there.

Those who know me, know that I would have to be really goddamn serious to say what Im about to say, but shit, Id cut off my own left testicle with a dull rusty spoon soaked in over-due mayo to have a PTW.

Having used the latest gen PTW kits several times and having a MAX on the way I can say from expirence that they blow anything else out of the water. Just about every M4 I've built ran me over 2k and ran alright. For the same amount of cash you have a rock solid AEG, made to actual 1:1 specs with realistic function. I would be supprised if you could go out and buy even a systema complete mech that will reliably run at 500fps rain shine sleet or snow...

For those interested the MAX series come with the M150 cylinder, but there is also a MAXII series that comes with an M110. The MAX series also has a steel barrel (as opposed to aluminum in the standard), a heat treated buffer tube (as opposed to painted) and steel reinforced internals tuned to run at 500fps reliably.

Compairing a PTW to a TM/CA/G&P is like compairing a TM/CA/G&P to Canadian Tire Soft Air crap.

The battery selection for the latest gen PTW's actually goes by the cylinder your using. The guys I know with them just run 9.6v batts and no, you can build your own if you want. The M4 style batts are actually designed to fit the real steel Crane stocks (as used on the PTW's) so if you install a real stock on your TM you should be able to use systemas batts.

so another question, i see systema refers to their ammo as bullets. do they shoot regular bbs or a cased round like the rap4 paintball guns?
