I'm so glad I got my order in before they went under. I nearly pissed myself though when it happened because I thought I might lose the stuff they're sending...

But oh well, looks like their stock is slowly trickling into the backup

The catch is that there is $25 of shipping on a $50 vest :P.

I figure there might have been slow downs because of the troubles they had with eBay, but how long did it take you guys to get packages from eHobby?

1.5 weeks (7-10 business days) from the few times I've dealt with them

No point really since they don't offer discount on group shipping.

Once I ordered over $500 worth of products and asked for cheaper shipping since the shipping charge quoted was like $140.

I guess it's too early for me too really be worrying. I am waiting for something and it's been like 11 days. I hate waiting for stuff from eBay. :banghead:

Nope, they just told me "Oh the shipping cost most is factored for 'handling' rather than actual shipping cost".

So yeah, you are actually better off doing a smaller order since ehobby doesn't declare full value, so you get taxed less. I think I paid like $33 for tax including $7 customs fees for that big order. It was just a bunch of batteries, box of mags, and other accessories.
