I use a lipo in my m4, under my arms #50M rail, I love it, been using it for a year or more now, and no problems, plus the RC industry is pushing the technology 10 fold, they keep getting smaller and smaller but hold more juice

I'm currently awaiting word from a custom battery shop about this, but perhaps one of you knows or has tried: Does a lipo pack exist that might fit inside the buffer tube of an M4?

sorry, there is no way it will fit in the buffer tube of the m4, as for the ICS RIS, there is a good chance, the problem is though that not many people like re aranging the waffers (3 in an 11.1 pack) so you just gotta shop around.

Just looked up the specs and its a tad too big to fit in my P90 battery compartment...dang, there goes my option to get 8000mAh. And my new charger is capable of up to 9900mAh and can do LiIon and LiPo packs too...

very true, I was able to take advantage of having the same Mah as the rest of you boys, but instead of keeping that unsightly anpaq, I put in in the rail, I have to say, its nice having no need for that ungly battery box, allowes me to use the real deal

when you look at the size of these, and even minis and large batteries, you think they would have some interesting battry ideas, like a magpul replica stock or something.

A 7.4v 2C 2100Mah will be just a bit smaller than a Mini battery!
