My roommate bought the WE HICAP 5.1 (BC?) anyways, it's the chrome one with the dragon slide. I agree with the sluggish feeling, I haven't had a chance to use the TM version, but comparing it to other GBBs it just feels strange. It's not a gun that seems like it likes to be fired quickly. Not like my G23F :-D , which for that matter gets about three mags worth of bbs from one fill of gas compared to the WE getting about one and a half if it's lucky.

i kinda agree with black_orchid. its inexpensive, and its full metal. you cant expect a absolutely flawless piece of an airsoft. but if you cope with the flaws it has, you get a really nice gun. sure, you need some experience with GBBs. mine served me some major headaches. now its running fine, im customizing it and keep going... its clearly a gun for the warmer parts of the year, the gas has to be quite warm in order to serve enough power. or as another user posted in another topic: "buying a WE, you buy the good and the bad" so i cant really understand some guys in here bashing WE and calling them garbage. id really like to quote a famous slogan of some mint-pastilles lots of you know for sure.... |

I recently picked up a WA SVI 4.3 Expert , and have noticed that the gun is one of the most imbalanced guns I own. Personally I'd say go with the marui... At least you know it's been QCd. |

i dont have a tm, nor have i handled one, but from what i see with my WE dragon, id say go tm. the we is nice, but it is an absolute gas hog, and the saftey grip thing, pops out of place all the time (some times when i pull it out of my holster) its still a good gun, but the tm i would gurantee is better.

Why not just save, and buy a Quality WA piece? lol. But seriously... i'd go with the TM. Oh, and I really dislike monkey-metal.

I've shot through maybe 3 mags on each gun, and the TM consistently have much better groupings than the WE. And the TM certainly feels more snappy, which is probably due to the ABS slide. Don't get me wrong, WE is pretty damn good considering the price you pay for. In Canada, you can get a WE for about 190-220, where as the TM stock cost about 230-260. But I would still prefer to spend a bit more getting the TM and use it until the slide breaks and replace with a metal slide. |
