If you're not able to get a refund, here's a tip on how to effectively use the "bright" RDS at night:

Since red dot scopes can still be used with the front lense cover on, it means you could use a tinted window in the back to block out most of the glare. With the glare blocked out, the dot will be less bright and you can use the scope more effectively in the dark.

Supposibly not faulty... works good for outdoor in the day... looking to use it in darker times though...

Anyway, no, it runs on two of those button batterys.

Raygis, got that. I'll definately check out getting some tinted cover of some sort for it.

try sticking a bit of 0.5mm pencil lead between the cells. You could increase resistance by using a shorter length of lead.

I suspect that the harder grades of pencil lead contain more clay and less graphite. They may have a higher resistance.

I guess my basement may be a bit dark.

Though, as I said before, still open to suggestions as I would like to use this in the night... or dawn.. or afternoon.

Anyway, here's a picture. In my actual view, it's a bit bigger in glow and the glow isn't quite as round.

Also, how do you like my range?
Notice. That is a Crosman target. It actually has BBs UNDER the gell.
Looks like you got your hop up set on full, you shredded the board above the target! I have the same Crosman target, haven't used it in years!

Isn't it great having Carl around? I never would have thought of this! Few would have actually. VERY few!
