Just buy it in Canada, after the conversion, the price is going to be 500 and some after tax, and majority of the airsoft stores uses ups to ship, that's another 50 to 60 dollars, then if you got luck on your side and the csba didn't seize it and didn't blacklisted you. You will still have to pay the import fee of 50 dollars minimum (I swear ups has a policy that every 100 dollar value their importation fee is 20 dollars)
I don't think that 600 to 700 dollars is worth the effort for importing something that is already in Canada and on top of it the chance of getting a red flag from the csba implying you didn't do the proper paper work

"Can I import this into Canada?"
Yeah, if you want to waste half a thousand dollars on a low quality gun. And though I generally don't judge people's gun choices, that thing looks really impractical. Extremely long barrel, non-adjustable stock, vertical grip, high cap magazine, and it shoots too hot for almost any field I know of. For that price I'm assuming the internals are semi-decent at best. Something tells me you're not very experienced in airsoft and should REALLY do more research and play more games before making a big purchase on something like an AEG. Quote:

wouldn't say it would be over 500 after importation...
even with crappy exchange rate at the 35% the credit card companies will charge you, 250 usd after shipping would only be 337 cad. Depending if they shipped ups or usps, you could be looking at 35$, 5% and 13% of the total for import fees from ups, or by usps, 8$, 5% and 13% of total. And if they're bastards, you either pay the duty and hst on the value of what's in the package or if they're real asshats, they will make you pay based on what's in the box PLUS what they charged for shipping, depending how lazy the customs guy is or how the value was declared on the paperwork. over 300 definitely for a JG. not worth it. A landed JG m4 is not worth more than 250 after tax. Don't get how people are so bad at google they can't even find the canadian retailers to price shop. It's not like the major vendors aren't hidden these days.

Since when has it become acceptable to call an airsoft a "gun" on this forum?

Everyone also says treat your airsoft GUNS like the real thing... like a GUN. So let's call a spade, a spade, yeah?

At the current exchange rate, it's not worth it unless it's something not normally found here.

Can I import this gun into canada
I think that falls into the "not normally found here" category (in stock). Having said that, I would have gotten a TM P90 HC elsewhere had I not found M2M.

As long as the site states the FPS, you're golden, stuffs so grey, it's boggles my mind at times. EX. Ordered a GHK 74UN from Evike, their site stated 370 fps+, when I chronoed it, was sub 355-360. (p.s don't order with Evike, they are horrible with their CS.) |

I'm going to toss this in here as well, maybe save you some trouble:
The soul purpose of a long barrel is to achieve a certain look. A 10" barrel will shoot the same distance as a 20". If you want to build a setup with the look of a DMR, stick with a standard 14.5" barrel. No reason to leave yourself with an unwieldy gun with no advantage over something shorter and more useful |
