Yes it spins. But I couldn't see much aventage. May be easier to insert into the lower receiver but I had hard time when it was new.

Added more info in post#3 to show how to fix the slide stop and trigger pull issues.

Check it out, it may help. If you like diy, you could fix it yourself.

any ideas what is the best slide fit 5.1 gold match?
mine broken into half |

Wooh? ? What had happened? How would it be in half?
How many rounds you've put it through? Any of the 5.1 slides should fit in but just the front left mid frame rail will not have a good contact with other slides at the same spot since the Gold Match is a bit thicker with the reinforced metal piece. I have a Limcat metal slide and tried it on but never installed it, I have no idea at all for suggestions. Let the other experience hicapa user to give you advice.

Let me guess, the slide broke when you're firing, it cracked during blow back, and the back half of the slide went off track, right? Then you removed the slide and found it cracking and broke it?
What kind of gas you're using, propane? Green gas or 134a? I assume this point is the weakest for the design. Is the problem causing from green gas? May be?

This was what I posted on other thread:
The Japanese design is for 134 (75-80psi)but still able to handle propane(115psi). What you'll get is shorten the life use. When engage firing, gas is being releasing and flow through nozzle to push bb out from chamber and blow back the slide. The main impact are front and back horizontal, but don't miss out the vertical impact that creates between mag valve and nozzle. This impact also put pressure on the rails of slide and mid flame. That's how it got wear out faster and create problems, and that's how my 4.3 plastic slide got broken. Lubricant the contact could lengthen the life and minimize wear no matter is plastic or metal. After I learned and understand this situation and realized what would I expect the life of each. And that's also giving me a guide line to see if I would like to have it up grade or modify or not! __________________

i belive i have been firing around 6000rounds its cost me 2 unit output valve because the o-ring has been damage as well i'm using silicone spray to lubricant the parts inside.. i dont use grease at all. now i'm looking for this slide which i dont know if can fit it well or not http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/guarder-a...l#.ViCA034rLIU also asking my friend in japan to order the original slide for me if he can.. i dont know how to read and write in japanese as the order process required to fill in the form and sent the order through the form given in the box.. :banghead: Last edited by Sticksquad; October 16th, 2015 at 05:56.. Thanks and good to know this slide can last for long even after you modified and fixed the slide stop. I thought it might not!
If the slide got broken when firing, I would think of we are using propane or green gas that the pressure is half the way high than 134a so it shorten the life time. But I never think of the slide would break in two pieces. I know the blow back on Glock, the pressure are on the outer barrel and the slide hitting the lower. And Gold Match design on the slide has slots in top front, I also feel like the material on GM is not as strong as regular hicapa so that could be reasons: 1, higher gas pressure. 2, weaker spots on those top of slide slots. Finally for this milage you put on this pistol, I'm happy for the result. But you are really love to shoot with this GM and put through a lot of rounds on it in a short period of time, lol! Thank for your information and I would like to know if you're able to order the new slide from Japan. Have you ever think about to get other new GM rather than just order the slide? BTW, what kind of Silicon spray you're using?

yes love to firing to release after works destroy all boxes in the house.
its snappy feel better than my G18C. since not yet got any AEG in my hand. getting others GM in my country from local supplier would cost me another USD400 unless online shop can sent me parts by parts it would be easier to bypass the customs then the cost would be cheaper than get it from local supplier. let me know if got people willing to ship parts i try to get Age verification in here but seem not possible.. i'm using below silicone spray Last edited by Sticksquad; October 17th, 2015 at 07:07.. |
