I add the Mayflower Apc to the list of recomended carriers, but $100 is a little shallow for that unfortunately.
Like with many airsoft related things, if at all possible I would recomend saving a little more cash, buying once and then not having to buy again down the road |

You can often find great deals in the classifieds here, if you don't mind going used. Plenty of smaller sized items for sale on the forums - and you can get a first hand response about fit!
I didn't notice when you mentioned your size, but that Flyye PC will not fit you if it is sized the same as the eagle. you will want to be at a bare minimum a 32 waist, with plates in there to take up space - and potentially a soft armor vest, eg paca low vis, underneath if you're not wearing layers. |

Ah, you're out of the price range of all the really cool PCs
The ur-tac easyplate is only $150 or so, but not nearly as comfortable. Try finding something with a plate that's only 6 molle wide, and 6 molle straps tall. That will fit great. |

I am a small frame too and I have the FS Strandhogg in small and it fits me great, and is exceptionally comfortable and Light, but is freaking expensive at 400$+ (without shipping duty and taxes)
The FS SST (STT?) came out right after I bought my PC, and is half the price but has all the greatest features of the Strandhogg. At first sight, the only différence I can see is the shoulder pas that look less padded and comfy but if that's the kind of trade off there is to cut the price in half, I'd say it's a real good deal You should consider doubling your budget and get a carrier that you can wear all day and keep for years! My 2cents |

Add a bit more. 150$~
Think of it this way: If you are going to be wearing this thing on the hottest, nastiest days of the summer, would you not want it to fit right and be comfortable in the heat and stickiness? Is that comfort not worth paying a bit more for? these 2 are considered small: http://www.herooutdoors.com/condor-c...plate-carrier/ http://www.herooutdoors.com/condor-g...plate-carrier/ this one comes in a small and larger size. http://www.herooutdoors.com/condor-exo-plate-carrier/ Realistically, I would be upping the amount I'd be willing to spent to 200~ and pick the banshee carrier over the condor cyclone. The banshee will be higher quality. But, gear being gear, there will always be an upgrade if you're willing to spend a bit more. Even to get something that will fit you in flyye, I think you will be looking to pay more. Avoid the low end china made shit unless you have no other choice. It's generally heavier material, poorly stitched, the sewing patterns aren't as well thought out and there's more layers. Condor is probably as low end as I would go, their stuff is really low end real steel. After a certain price point, the quality of gear is reasonably the same, but the added cost usually adds more comfort or better ventillation. I found that the lower end stuff has poor ventilation so you can overheat much quicker. Cheap stuff also has a tendency not to stay where you want it and shifts around a lot because they don't have anti slip material on the inside (also helps with venting)

The 2" straps are only velcro backed on the bottom, but they're surprisingly comfortable for being unpadded. Most of the weight on the carrier (which is just about nothing) is taken up on the snug fit to your torso, so there's not much weight on your shoulders at all.
I only put ferro shoulderpads on mine to have some place to route cables. |

Knowing me, I'd probably end up upping my budget anyway. I don't think I'd go condor for the very reasons mentioned, even though hero is close to me and does have a really nice selection.
I'm typically one to opt for quality, so I guess I'll need to make some decisions |

I'm 5'10" with a 32" waist and I just got the LBX Armatus in medium. Awesome PC. Lightweight, comfortable and best of all.... actually fits around my mid section! I have other chest rigs and PC's that even adjusted tight as they will go, still flop around so I know what you mean about fit.

I would probably drop the ciras.. they all look more medium to large sized. I have a friend with a slightly larger waist than you and he's almost swimming in it.

I can back that up about the ciras I'm 34" waist and 220lbs and the ciras is big I switched to a JPC and love it since its so much lighter and smaller

Are there any Canadian resalers of Flyye Gear or other replica brands?
It seems the only replica brand anyone here carriers is Condor. Shipping prices are a bit steep from out of country ($40+ for a $100 item) *Just an update*, I've revised my decision to either: LBT 6094A style: + I like how the 6094 drops a bit lower, - an image search reveals greater variation in size, with some vests containing a full 8 molle loops, and others with 6 plus partial end loops. DBT Fast Attack Plate Carrier (FAPC) Style: + I like the removable cummerbund, and narrow profile which would fit me well Last edited by AnthonyG; December 24th, 2014 at 03:38.. |
