I'm getting some custom pouches made by Wheelers to fix my P90 mag problem. Ive sent in a design to them, and right now they are currently in production, and be in my hands by late next week.

The pouches will fit TWO P90 mags per pouch, and will be MALICE compatible. So it can not only attach to any vest or drop leg using this system (such as ones made by Wheelers), but can also easily attach to any belt. I'm getting mine in OD, but they can also come in CADPAT.... Sorry i dont think they can do black or other camo type though.

The price isnt TOO bad at $40/pouch, but considering the alternatives such as the stuff available at WGC, its not that bad... not to mention the better quality factor. As soon as these come in, i'll post some pics and how they work out. If they work out as good as i'm hoping, i'll post info to anyone else that may be interested in getting some themselves.

Considering I'm currently looking at TAG pouches, that after shipping and taxes are about $40+ each, I'd say that's a pretty good price. I just don't like that they SINGLE STITCH their stuff, or so it seems on their photos.

My custom pouches have arrived!

And they fit two of the P90 mags very nicely. Very nicely made, and exactly as i had requested it. To confirm with Firemachine69... yeah they do single stich their stuff - but its pretty tough, ive had their modular vest with pouches for almost a year now, and its holding together as good as the day i got it. If you have their vest it will fit perfectly on it, though will be a bit high for obvious reasons, something like a chestrig, belt or dropleg would probably be a better solution.

Anyway, i'll post some pics of these pouches shortly. And if anyone is interested in getting these yourselves, i can talk to them to give this pouch a "name" that way you can order it directly from them (not through me).

<EDIT>

Their number changed. Guess it's time to change the speed-dial on my cell. :lol:

Just got off the phone with them. Their now re-commencing production of custom orders. BE FOREWARNED. They made 90 out of 200 drag bags for the army's new sniper rifle. Their going to get back on schedule with custom orders. After December, they're going to finish off the military order. Custom orders further placed, I'll assume, will come afterwards. If you place the order, I'm guessing you're in for quite a wait.

I guess i got lucky i got mine the time that i did... especially since i got them to make only 3 of these pouches!

They did say this pouch was very easy to do, its not that much different than their C7 doubble mag pouch, just long enough to fit the P90 mags, and extra MALICE straps lower down... so maybe it wont be that much of an issue should anyone want to get their own.

Took some quick pics of these P90 pouches and how they look. I got mine in OD, but they can be made in CADPAT for the same price. Some pics below showing the pouches... fairly simple, and i find these work nicely.

Single-stitching...that's weird. All my prior Tiger Tactical stuff was triple-stitched at the major stress points... Maybe it's the photo, but I'm gonna go check to see if I lost it and I don't have triple-stitching on my stuff (so far).

Maybe i misunderstand what you mean by single stitching/double stitching... im guessing it means one line of stitching right? I took some closeup photos of the stitching, maybe you can tell me... arts & crafts was never my thing anyway

That aside, there looks to be a second thread along the corners of each pouch, should be visible in one of these images...
