Yea, but it's not always about concealment, but sometimes about the look. Especially if he's wanting that specific helmet, he may be collecting, or wanting it to complete a specific type of soldier (ie: special forces, etc).

It's definetly a pro-tec ace inthe pic you posted but I can't tell if it's a wake model or skate model without seeing a good profile shot of it.
Either way though both helmets are sweet. On a side note though if you wanted to take a different route while being true to US SF troops I've seen them in Vigor helmets also. I think they're usually a little cheaper than pro-tec but look pretty much the same as some of pro-tecs models. (the ones I've seen looked like classic skate model pro-tecs) The vigor helmets I've seen in use were classified as climbing helmets and painted tan with all the velcro and mounts ect. Good luck with picking one out. There's alot of great looking choices out there. |
