1) I installed a 650mm in a customer's CYMA RPK, perfect fit behind the flash hider.
2)OP mentioned the MK46 not the MK43 Last edited by venture; March 23rd, 2012 at 16:18.. |

Jeez...my bad, I totally missed the model designation. Sorry for any confusion.

Well, considering the Mk46 is still an A&K it's expected that it will have some quality issues, both inside and out.
So, your criticisms are certainly not without merit. |

I just can't believe I missed that...LOL
Re. the A&K 249 (variations)...they're ok. As said, they still suffer the "soft metal" syndrom, so-so mechbox (the bearings are sh*t), poor stock hopup, etc... All manageable issues. The wiring is so-so...and benefits from being swapped out. The retaining clip for the rear tabs needs to be bent so it doesn't pop out when you lift the cover. Ok little shooter...no major gaffes like the Mk43 |

I just sent out a used A&K M249 that I had. It was branded "UKArms" and it had a steel receiver.

Can you fit the romanian front wood kit on a rpk? Ie is it the same wood kit for ak and rpk?

An rpk will be more accurate due to the barrel length, i love my rpk, great range and accuracy but unless youre over 6' tall it will be a bitch to move around with.
