nope...no visible wires when stock is folded... only wire issue is the fuse to big for the stock so the wires tend to cut but if you shorten them and remove the fuse you won't have any problem.

VFC? Well there is a SCAR better than a VFC. Did you even think of the Classic Army SCAR? Those are top notch! VFC or CA are the best, G&G isn't bad, and Echo 1, just save up and buy the CA or VFC.

I have 3 VFC guns, SR-16 m4 Knights armament stoner edition , Scar L and Scar H. IMO VFC is one of the best. The Scars are the exact same, internally. They both have the same wire harness and folding stock with no visible wires. The Scar H takes proprietary VFC mags. However I have modded the magpul 20LR mags to fit and they work great. No other mags will work with the VFC Scar H. I have used various m4 mags witch all fit with Scar L. Dont wast your money on a CA or Echo 1 Scar save the extra 250-300 bucks and buy VFC .

+1 for not wasting time with the CA SCAR, I had one and it was nothing but problems. I got rid of it almost as fast as I got it. I gamed it maybe 2 times, and I ended up switching to my other rifles because it just didn't work very well. Hop up issues, and operation wasn't very good. I wish I had gone VFC instead.

In reality I loved both set ups. I liked the SCAR even though it didn't work well. I think had I gone with the VFC in the beginning it would have easily taken the place of my trusty M4. I owned two M4's KWA, and TM. Both were amazing.

I was realy dissapointed in the vfc scar h. Estetic are top notch but internaly they are substandart imo. Mags are complete crap. Sold it within 1 month and bought a 10 year old tm that still outperforms the new vfc scar h. Get a m4

Nope the vfc box is propritary and the way the selector switch system is designed it's a pain in the ass to reassemble the gun without damaging something. VFC got the external right but failed the rest..... Specialy the mags. Fuck I broke 2 mags installing magpuls! Had to superglue them shut. Next gun is a g36 or mp5 in my case anyway.

Imo get an m4. King arms or G&G are both really good value and performance.

Most scars on the market use proprietary selector switches and hop up units, which can be painful to replace. If you do end up going with a scar, get the g&g or vfc. Stay away from echo 1,the hop up unit is proprietary and abyssmal

If it's a clone, it's a waste. That is true 99.9% of the time. Listen to the experienced guys on the forums. I had a friend who ran a CA Scar-H, and it was amazing out of the box. It ran forever with no issues. I haven't used a VFC myself, but I hear good things about the Scar-H at any rate. Save a bit more money and go for reliability. You'll thank these guys in the end.
