The reason you're getting slammed is not because of what your trying to do, but because you have NOTHING to back your words. You clearly havent thought this through, nor have you thought about the legalities for manufacturing airsoft guns in canada.

You seriously need to sit down, shut up and open a book and learn how things are done in canada before spewing out "I wanna do this and that".

Come up with a sound business plan, product designs, or contracts with existing manufacturers who are willing to manufacture for you in canada, or take a hike. Unless you have even ONE of those, you are no different from the 10's of thousands of kids out there who want to make a quick buck.

The community is more than willing to help you out, but only if you show that you are dedicated and serious about what you're doing. Noone is going to waste their breath on you unless you have something worth discussing.

not manufactured in Canada my friend. First post says it would be hk,taiwan or singapore based. I dont think importation into Canada would be too much of a problem if hes planning on only clear fiber glass receivers.

Isn't there a rule about not flaming newbies or something in this section. It seems to me your all shitting on the guy over an IDEA.

We all have them, he choose to get some opinions, telling him to shut up and take a seat doesn't help him.

This is the reason why people either don't like ASC or try to avoid it like a plague and stick to their local community forums.

At any rate,

Not including the AR platform would actually end up hurting you in the long run, as previously mentioned its such a large market because of its demand, same with the AK. Manufactures can sell TONS of them and if you could do the same, it would offset some of the costs of making your unique guns.

Don't let anybody steal your dreams but as a next step if you're serious is to put a business plan together and let your business school buddies at University do their own little Dragon's Den on it. If nothing else it'll open your eyes to stuff you might have missed and how high the hurdle for a new business really is.

A lot of good ideas die because the dreamer didn't do his/her homework and then becomes disillusioned when mugged by reality.

Its not a flame, its making a clear point.
Just cause its a newbie section, doesnt mean people can just spout out crap.

If hes serious, he will take it as constructive critisizm and do something about it. If not, then another "visionary" bites the dust.

Simple as that. Nothing in my post constitutes a flame.

I'd suggest begin by making custom parts, then eventually work your way up to a custom gun. (polarstar and deepfire are some). Get your name out there. Otherwise, make sure your gun is 100% compatible with a large company (TM). If your gun doesn't perform up to par, and can't be upgraded, then you've just wasted a lot of money.
