I got my first airgun when I was about 10. I never paraded it in public or did anything boneheaded with it, entirely because I had parental supervision and had been told what to do/not do. Lets hope these parents do as good a job. Otherwise, chalk it up to natural selection.

only if we force the weather guys, and the really crappy sports anchors out in the front line with only springer pistols so we can all shoot the hell out of them

I find the easiest way is look at the grip and see if there is a hole. If there is then it's generally the real one (or an airsoft gun missing it's motor )

I have this, but it's not a great example (first pic).
Schlyder has better examples of the Sigs (second pic: both airsoft, third pic: left is airsoft right is real).

Those are some of the ones I was thinking of Styrak. The bottom two are really convincing.

I remember in the RCMP G36 one they actually took the airsoft mag and stuck it with the real gun (due to the fake bullets) to try and prove their point more.

In the case of the two M4's bottom one is real and top is airsoft and also a GBBR as Kaos suggests. The forward assist is worn because it's got a crap paint job from factory The large grip on the bottom one is a magpul grip whereas the GBBR has a stock grip.

I'd argue it's very hard to tell unless you're experienced with the particular firearm. But even then there would be no way of being sure.

The last two Sig's Styrak posted up I would have had no idea which was real and which wasn't had he not have told us. Maybe if I owned one of each (airsoft and real Sig) I'd have a chance of telling?

Nope. The G&G is an amazing copy.

What's more amazing is you can't own the Sig version in Canada, Prohibited by name. You can own a Swiss Arms Green/Black though

But yeah, it's a hard match, they got it down exact....

It even has a stamped steel receiver like the real one.
Probably thinner walls, but still.

Dude Just stop feeding the CGN trolls. Saying that you are trying to prevent bad Airsoft publicity while generating negitave Airsoft publicity on a nationally monitored Firearm web site is like fucking for Virginity.
